What I400C40 is

Eight tanks in 40 ft. You bring the power architecture.

I400C40 is the no-UPS twin of I400C45. Same 400 kW, same eight A32 tanks, same T50 density — in a 40 ft shell because the UPS and battery volume is gone. Buy it when the site already has distribution, or when lithium is not allowed inside the compute enclosure.

The one thing

Same eight tanks as I400C45. The only difference is the power boundary and five feet.

Pick I400C40 when I400C45 would force you to pay twice for power — once in the box, once in the yard. The tanks do not change. The enclosure is five feet shorter. A separate MDCX power module for sites that need the boundary outside the box is Roadmap.

The power boundary

You own the UPS. The tanks stay ours.

I400C40 is the 40 ft compute enclosure only. Customer-supplied UPS / battery / PDC sit outside. Recommended IT 360 kW, max 400 kW. The full side-by-side with I400C45 — container length, backup minutes, UL — lives on the I400C45 page. A separate MDCX power module is Roadmap.

Questions

What is the difference between I400C40 and I400C45?

They share the same 400 kW, eight-tank core. I400C45 puts UPS and battery in a 45 ft power bay. I400C40 (I400C40ST50) drops that volume: 40 ft, UPS outside.

Why is I400C40 five feet shorter?

The five feet is the power bay. Remove UPS and battery from the enclosure and the hall is 40 ft.

When should I choose the no-UPS version?

Choose I400C40 when the site already has distribution, or when lithium is not allowed inside the compute enclosure.

How long is delivery for I400C40?

First delivery is 90 days ex-works from receipt of down payment. Expansion blocks: 90 days ex-works.
