I400C45 is the complete inference pack: eight A32 tanks, 400 kW, UPS + battery in the same 45 ft box. Up to 512 PCIe GPUs, PUE ≈ 1.05 where peak dry-bulb ≤ 24 °C (free-cooling; not hot-zone). You land compute and power together. Expansion blocks: 90 days ex-works.
I400C45 is the published 400 kW immersion pack with power in the enclosure. 8× A32 tanks plus one 10 kW air rack, each tank to 50 kW with dual 2N CDUs, heat out on a 32/37 °C warm-water loop, EATON UPS and battery in the dedicated 45 ft power bay. On site you connect utility, water, and network — not a second power project.
I400C45SUT50 (I400C45)Roadmap A separate MDCX power module (UPS / battery / PDC) is in development for sites where the boundary must sit outside the compute enclosure.
IT Load vs. Facility Load. 400 kW is what the servers draw. Total facility load is ~440–500 kW once cooling and auxiliaries are added — the gap is set by PUE, which depends on your site's climate. Sites whose historical peak dry-bulb stays ≤ 24 °C run on pure dry coolers (free cooling); hotter sites add a hybrid chiller and are not 1.05. Always confirm which figure an "X MW" requirement refers to.
Pick I400C45 when the pad has no UPS of its own and lithium in the enclosure is allowed. You are buying one SKU instead of a compute box plus a yard power project. I400C40 is the twin that drops the power bay and five feet. I200C20 is the 20 ft, four-tank edge bay.
Immersion is the lowest-OpEx path to PCIe density. Why Immersion Cooling →
The 45 ft cutaway includes the power bay. Orbit the eight tanks, then the UPS/battery volume that I400C40 leaves in the yard.
The OpenUSD reference model is published in the annex of the I400C45 Reference Design. Heavy USD is explicit download only. Specs: USD output.
Both containers share the identical immersion core — 8× A32 tanks, the same oil loop, the same cooling rules. They differ in where the UPS lives.

Up to 512 PCIe GPUs per I400C45 container (I400C45SUT50), across eight A32 tanks at up to 50 kW/tank.
About 1.05 in free-cooling climates (historical peak dry-bulb ≤ 24 °C). Hotter sites add a hybrid chiller for peaks and are not 1.05.
Yes. UPS and battery sit in the dedicated 45 ft power bay. That is the complete inference pack.
